SwapScore collects a small amount of data so the scanner can keep your goal between visits, send you the swaps digest if you opted in, and tell us which channels are working. Here's exactly what we keep, how we use it, and how to reach us.
Three buckets. Each one maps to a clear product purpose — none of it is sold or shared.
Captured when you sign up to the weekly swaps digest, tick the "notify me" alert on a scan result, or join the waitlist. Stored against the email_subscribers and waitlist tables.
Stored locally in your browser under swapscore_history. We also keep anonymous page-view aggregates on the server (path, hashed IP, user-agent class, UTM tags) in page_views.
Chosen by you in the scanner, kept locally in your browser under swapscore_goal, swapscore_goal_name, swapscore_has_set_goal, and any swapscore_saved_goal:* entries. Never leaves your device.
Score products against the goal you've chosen, send the weekly swaps digest to people who've opted in, and alert you when a better option lands in a category you've ticked. We don't sell your data and we don't share it with third parties for advertising.
Server-side page-view aggregates (path, bot flag, hashed IP, UTM tags) stay in page_views and power our analytics. Clear the lot anytime by emailing us — all records tied to your signup get removed. Scan history and saved goals live only in your browser; clear them through your browser's site-data controls.
Questions, requests to delete data, or anything else — drop us a line.
